Forbes rated the companies by estimating their revenues for 2018. Sibanthracite Group, which was created last year by combining three coal companies, entered the list for the first time, with a revenue of 162.1 billion rubles ($2.58 bn).

In 2017, the combined total revenue of the Group’s three companies – Siberian Anthracite, Open-Pit Mine Vostochny, and  Open-Pit Mine Kiyzassky – had been 6.6 billion rubles ($1,142 bn).

Sibanthracite Group took third place among the top five most rapidly developing companies in Russia thanks to significant revenue growth driven by increased production volumes.
