The Sibanthracite Group considers promoting development in the regions where it operates to be one its most important tasks. Consequently, the Group’s enterprises maintain comprehensive social and charitable programs aimed at improving the quality of life of people of different ages.
Since 2021, Sibanthracite has been holding its annual ‘Region of Opportunities’ grant competition in Novosibirsk Region’s Iskitimsky District, where NPOs, state and municipal institutions, and citizens’ initiative groups can attract funding for socially significant projects that can change the lives of the residents of their native locality for the better. Sibanthracite is the first private company to hold a grant competition in the region.
In addition, assistance in developing the region is provided as part of agreements on socio-economic cooperation concluded annually with the municipalities in the areas where the Group’s enterprises operate. And there is still room for targeted assistance and support of the population.
Sibanthracite actively participates in renovating schools, preschools, and cultural centers every year. This includes renovation of housing and communal services facilities, road repairs, providing equipment for sports facilities and playgrounds, landscaping of cities and towns, clean-up days, etc.
