In Kemerovo Region, open-pit coal mining is carried out at the Verkhneteshsky and Kuznetsky Yuzhny Open-Pit Mines. In 2023, a license was acquired for another site in Kuzbass – the Malinovsky Open-Pit Mine.

The Group launched the coal mine from scratch in 2022 as a greenfield-type project. A year later, the first million tonnes of T-grade coal were mined here. The site’s reserves amounted to 79.1 million tonnes as of January 1, 2021, according to JORC Code classification.

Began coal mining in 2021 and joined the Group in September of 2023. It is located near the Verkhneteshsky Open-Pit Mine, which makes it possible to use already created infrastructure for coal transportation.
